The VDI Technology Center assumes that Germany will need around 80 million tons of H2 per year by 2050. We are committed to ensuring that a significant proportion of this demand is covered by locally produced green hydrogen in order to guarantee an independent and sustainable supply and strengthen national energy independence. We are convinced that the promotion of SMEs will make a significant contribution to Germany achieving these ambitious goals. Small, regional hydrogen supplies are the future for energy-intensive production facilities. The solution enables an efficient switch to hydrogen, the CO2-free energy source of tomorrow.

We support you in the first step towards realizing your own hydrogen plant. We offer customized consulting, identification of the individual need for action and development of a dedicated project plan

H2-CHANCEN-WORKSHOP
Baseline analysis
In an initial workshop, we will analyze your current production line in terms of energy consumption, costs and equipment and project this over the next 10 years. We will define a possible framework for your own hydrogen plant.
System modeling / Design
Based on phase 1, we are modeling a first hydrogen plant that will be able to supply your current energy consumption with green hydrogen within the defined framework.
Technical migration planning
Based on Phase 1+2, we conduct a feasibility study and develop a technical migration plan taking into account system design, optimization, security and compliance.
Financial planning
On the basis of the technical migration plan, we prepare an initial cost estimate for the implementation, an overview of possible public funding options and an ROI calculation.
